Moderne Man

Josh Ballard is the front man for Indie Pop band Until June. After the success of Until June’s single Sleepless in 2008, Ballard set out to record a solo record influenced by euro dance pop. “I wanted to write a record that I enjoyed, something that was catchy and not necessarily cool, something the hipsters would hate. I have no agenda other than writing songs that make you want to tap your foot.” Moderne Man came after Ballard’s schedule started to slow down after the two year push from Until June. "I realized what a dichotomy my life is. Living in LA I'm often times surrounded by wealth and yet I have none. I had spent the better half of my life defining the modern man as that of wealth and success, yet most of the successful people I’d met seemed miserable. Moderne Man is a proverbial middle finger to the idea that success is defined by wealth." The freshman album will be available on iTunes and most online retailers. Look for the record in January of 2011.
